Motorcyclist killed following multi-automobile crash, coroner claims

A motorcyclist was killed in a three-motor vehicle crash Sunday, in accordance to Cherokee County Coroner Dennis Fowler. Fowler determined the victim as 34-year-old Steven Kyle Prince. Fowler stated Prince was driving a Kawasaki Ninja motorbike and was heading east on Ellis Ferry Street all over 5 p.m. Sunday. He mentioned the driver of a 2019 Kia headed west went to turn still left onto Oak Ridge Road when Prince strike the car on the driver’s facet. Fowler claimed Prince was ejected on impact and died at the scene. The driver of a second bike driving with Prince also hit the Kia and was taken to Spartanburg Medical Centre for non-life-threatening accidents. An autopsy on Prince is scheduled for Tuesday.

Fowler reported Prince was driving a Kawasaki Ninja bike and was heading east on Ellis Ferry Street around 5 p.m. Sunday.

He said the driver of a 2019 Kia headed west went to convert still left on to Oak Ridge Highway when Prince hit the automobile on the driver’s facet.

Fowler explained Prince was ejected on effects and died at the scene.

The driver of a next bike driving with Prince also hit the Kia and was taken to Spartanburg Health-related Middle for non-everyday living-threatening injuries.

An autopsy on Prince is scheduled for Tuesday.
